Nobles County commissioners voted Jan. 20 to move forward with implementing TipCo EVA, an AI-powered caseworker assistant proposed for Community Services to help with income maintenance and other client-facing tasks.
Officials said demonstrations of EVA showed the product could save staff time and enhance customer service; the motion to proceed was moved by Commissioner Robert S. Demuth and seconded by Commissioner Gene Metz and was duly passed by the board. The decision authorizes staff to continue implementation planning and vendor engagement.
