The county approved a quote from Rainmaker Sprinkler Co., Inc. for $8,829 to install patriotic bunting on the Kay County Courthouse. Commissioner Jason Shanks moved approval of the Rainmaker quote; the motion was seconded by Commissioner Shane Jones and carried unanimously.
Minutes state the bunting is installed "in recognition of the United States' 250th anniversary celebration, with the bunting to remain in place through the Courthouse's 100th anniversary celebration." The Facilities department will coordinate installation and schedule work with the vendor.
