The board also received updates on three imminent public‑works projects: transfer station block work (first project), a culvert order for Twiddy/Goodyville Road expected later this year, and stream‑bank stabilization on West Jamaica Road to repair flood-related washout. Staff said lead times matter (concrete columns and curing) and that contractors’ schedules are being coordinated.
Members asked staff to continue pushing contractors for schedules and to include project status in future updates to the board.
