Algoma accepts CMAR report; Veolia to submit monthly updates on phosphorus testing

Public works staff (S5) presented the city's CMAR annual report and explained a lower score on phosphorus testing resulted from a testing calculation change. Staff said Veolia, the city’s contractor, has prepared a corrective action plan and will provide monthly reports to public works until indicators show the system is trending in the right direction.
"Veolia has come up with a correction action plan that they will be reporting every month to the public works that we're headed in the right direction," S5 said. The council reviewed the report and approved it by motion.
