On Feb. 2 the Reinbeck City Council approved Resolution #2026-04R to delete property from the Reinbeck Urban Renewal Area. The mayor introduced Ordinance #2026-01OR deleting property from the city’s Tax Increment Financing (TIF) district pursuant to Section 403.19 of the Code of Iowa. After first consideration the council suspended the statutory rule requiring two meetings and adopted the ordinance at the same meeting by roll call (Wambold, Pease, Johnson, Trepp, Bueghly — all aye).
The council then introduced and adopted Ordinance #2026-02OR, repealing Ordinance No. 99-10-02 (division of taxes levied on taxable property in the Reinbeck Urban Renewal Area). The minutes reflect unanimous roll call votes for both ordinance adoptions. The record lists the legal citation for the deletion ordinance (Section 403.19 of the Code of Iowa) but does not include a map or parcel identifier for the property removed in the minutes.
