Kay County adopts ACCO-SIF participation resolutions for FY2026-27
Summary
The BOCC approved three resolutions to join ACCO-SIF self-insured funds and selected Payment Option 1 for workers' compensation and property & liability coverage for FY2026-27 for Kay County and the county justice facilities trust authority.
The Board approved Resolution Nos. 26-143, 26-144 and 26-145 to execute agreements establishing participation in the Association of County Commissioners of Oklahoma self-insured fund (ACCO-SIF) programs for FY2026-2027. Two resolutions applied to the Kay County Justice Facilities Trust Authority; one applied to Kay County generally. District Attorney Brian Hermanson reviewed the resolutions and approved them as to form before the board voted.
The resolutions document the board’s intent to participate under Payment Option 1 for workers’ compensation and Payment Option 1 for property and liability coverage for the 2026-27 fiscal year. The motions carried unanimously.
