The board considered and filled a slate of advisory-board vacancies and community mental-health (CMH) seats during the March 24 meeting. After candidate interviews and Appointment & Alignment Committee recommendations, commissioners appointed David Parnin (selected by plurality in committee voting) to a CMH vacancy aligned to a two-year term. The board also selected Donna Bunce and Robert Davis for three-year CMH public-seat vacancies and appointed others to various advisory roles including a consumer-seat appointment to the Community Action Agency advisory board.
Several applicants were discussed at length and commissioners noted the high caliber of candidates. The board used a mix of committee recommendations and roll-call voting to produce final appointments.
