Jake Warner, long-range planning manager, summarized the application submitted by Winslow Burton on behalf of Empowering You. Warner said the site is approximately 2.1 acres and that the Planning Commission had forwarded a positive recommendation following required public hearings. With no public comment offered tonight, council member Marcy Hausman moved to adopt the ordinance; the motion was seconded and carried 6–0 on roll call.
The rezoning changes the allowable land use category for the parcel; staff will complete the zoning map amendment and related administrative steps.
