Dennis Klinedinst reported multiple Public Works items including a scheduled meeting with LoBar to discuss removal of a chimney at the recreation building and new roof installation; council discussed also getting local contractor quotes because general contractors may add 15–20% to their prices. The minutes note "The meeting will be held tomorrow morning at 10 am with LoBar," and that LoBar has been awarded a unit-price contract through a state program.
Public Works also said sweeping will start on March 17, a generator meter for Lancaster Street is planned for this week or next, and roughly 800 water meters must be installed by the end of the year. The minutes record a Felton Borough request to have Red Lion crews clean about 10 miles of road priced at "$100 per hour with our equipment and our employees." Staff also requested two yield signs at Church and Windsor.
