The Housing Authority voted to open new bank accounts at First Montana Bank for Anaconda LIH Solutions LP and approved five signers for those accounts. Secretary Kaitlin Leary explained the accounts will include checking and security deposit savings accounts for Mount Haggin Homes, Cedar Park Homes and PJ Hagan Manor under Anaconda LIH Solutions LP plus an operations checking account for Anaconda LIH Solutions LP.
Leary noted that Good Housing Partnership (GHP) must add Geoff Anderson as a signer because GHP is the general partner; she also said Mr. Anderson would have full access to the accounts. The board discussed the risk but reaffirmed the two-signer requirement for checks as an internal policy and tasked staff to confirm Mr. Anderson’s agreement to that two-signer practice. Commissioner K. Vauthier moved to approve the five signers; Commissioner Bjornemo seconded and Chair A. Vauthier declared the motion carried unanimously.
