Lake Hallie Plan Commission approves multiple site plans, discusses rezoning and land-use vision

At its Oct. 13 meeting the Village of Lake Hallie Plan Commission approved site plans for a multi-building commercial development and an AutoZone store, approved a certified survey map, and discussed rezoning proposals for the 160th Street/Hwy 29 quadrant and TID #1 limits along Commercial Boulevard.
The Village of Lake Hallie Plan Commission convened Oct. 13, 2025, and approved several planning items, including site plans for Commercial Properties LLC and a proposed AutoZone, and a Certified Survey Map for a Pohl property. Chairman Brad Berg opened the meeting at 6:00 p.m.; the session adjourned at 7:18 p.m.
Commissioners approved Buildings 2 and 3 for Commercial Properties LLC with a directed reduction to Building 3 so the project can meet stormwater permit requirements. The commission also approved a 17,000-square-foot AutoZone plan after staff noted septic approval but said stormwater approval remained pending; staff agreed to coordinate with the County Highway Commissioner to address traffic concerns. The Pohl Certified Survey Map was approved as presented. All formal motions passed on voice votes.
