County committee recommends two remonumentation survey contracts totaling $32,231 and peer‑review pay not to exceed $595

Papineau of Papineau P.C. for $16,115.50, and peer‑review services (Papineau, Alex Altmaier and Patrick Johnson) not to exceed $595. The agreements set research, fieldwork, peer‑group presentation and submission of Land Corner Recordation forms; the contract period concludes with corner recording by Dec. 31, 2026.
Committee members moved to recommend the agreements for county approval; each motion carried unanimously. Appendix F contains full agreements, insurance certificates and payment schedules. The contracts will be paid from the remonumentation grant funds once the grant monies are deposited with Manistee County.
