Interim County Administrator Mike Sepic updated the Berrien County Finance Committee on April 23 about the county's request for proposals for a Pension Investment Advisor and the schedule for next steps. He told the committee the Trust Investment Advisory Committee/Finance Committee will meet on May 14, 2026 to receive an update from Russell Investments and the results of the Experience Study conducted by GRS Consulting.
The committee did not take formal action on the RFP at the meeting; the May 14 session is timetabled to present consultant findings and study results to committee members. Committee members were given the opportunity to ask for further detail ahead of the May 14 meeting so staff can provide materials to the board.
