Administration presented the contract (RFP 2024‑148) with a not‑to‑exceed amount of $674,325 and said funding will be provided from the Water Division and the Water Pollution Control Division Capital Improvement Fund. "I move approval," the sponsor said; the motion received a second and passed on a voice vote with no public opposition.
The contract will fund a rate study and outreach work to inform potential adjustments to rate structure and public communication strategies. Administration said the expense is budgeted in the CIP.
