North Canaan electors table two budget-transfer proposals amid Board of Finance concerns

First Selectman Jesse Bunce said the Town Attorney had reviewed the agenda but did not dispute the residents' concern that Board of Finance approval was not recorded in the minutes. After discussion, a motion from the floor to table Items 1 and 2 was moved (record indicates Christian Allyn as the mover) and seconded; the motion to table carried by voice vote. Item 2 — a $42,145.42 transfer for sand/salt — was paused and received no further action at this meeting.
