Selectmen accept Planning Board resignation; appoint five to Veterans Memorial committee

At the July 22 meeting the Board of Selectmen accepted the resignation of Planning Board member Lora Greene. The motion to accept the resignation was made by Selectman Timothy Derouche, seconded by Selectman Matthew Patneaude, and carried 3-0 as recorded in the minutes.
The board also appointed five people to the Veterans Memorial committee for one-year terms: Howard Whitten, Robert Whyte, Roscoe Hodsdon, Roy Hodsdon and Renee Hodsdon. Each appointment was moved by Timothy Derouche, seconded by Matthew Patneaude, and approved with a 3-0 vote.
