PRCAC authorizes representative to pursue Seabright stairs restoration

“He wanted us to put a motion on the floor to proceed with the Seabright stairs to work towards a solution to restore beach access in the current easement of the stairs by meeting with county staff, parks and rec, and public works to find a solution,” a committee member reported. The chair then instructed staff to message Clint to proceed with discussions and offered the committee’s support.
The motion focused on coordinating with county staff and Windermere (property owners) to determine whether stairs or an alternative switchback trail would meet the CUP (conditional use permit) requirements and safety standards. The committee did not commit funds but authorized representation and outreach.
