Board ratifies PBIS training agreement with SDCOE; president abstains
Summary

Assistant Superintendent David MacLeod described the district’s ongoing Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) training program, noting the District has contracted PBIS services with the San Diego County Office of Education since the 2018–2019 school year and that site staff have been on a rotation to fully train every school site.
Member Elana Levens‑Craig moved to ratify the agreement. The minutes record the vote with Member Levens‑Craig, Member El‑Hajj and Member Ryan voting yes, and President Burns recorded as abstaining; the motion was therefore ratified in the public minutes (tally recorded as three yes, one abstention).
