A resident opened public comments by thanking the board “for the beautiful work done at the pond,” and raised concerns that large rocks are being thrown near the boat ramp and that ATVs are parking on newly planted grass by the retainer wall.
Selectman Timothy Derouche moved to install up to four rocks in the affected area and to place an educational sign; Selectman Ray Hodsdon seconded the motion and the board voted 3-0 in favor. The board said the rocks are intended both to deter ATV parking and to help with erosion control at the third beach area. The board also discussed extending the rock placement and adding grass above the wall, and noted a small guard rail may be added at the far end if needed.
