Destiny Reynolds, a planner with the City of McKinney, told the commission staff recommended closing the public hearing and tabling a design-exception request for a proposed warehouse at a site north of Recovery Way.
"Staff recommends that you close the public hearing and table this item indefinitely," Reynolds said, and the record shows the applicant has decided not to purchase the property and was withdrawing the application. Commissioners moved to close the public hearing and table the item indefinitely; the motion carried 7–0.
The immediate effect: no further action will be taken on this application while it is tabled indefinitely; if the applicant or a new purchaser later re-files, the item would return for staff review and public hearing.
