"The overall project budget is, just over 10,000,000, you know, 8.5 for the construction and then about and then about 1.5 for, or 1,000,000 for professional services and other engineering services and then 500 for furniture, fixtures and equipment," the presenter said, describing the funding breakdown. The presentation said interior upgrades will include theater-technology improvements, a permanent stage, acoustics work, more comfortable seating and restored architectural finishes.
The presenter said the project is on target for completion by mid-November 2026. Seating capacity will increase to about 415–417 when renovations are finished; no formal reopening celebration date has been set, though staff indicated a larger celebration is possible in early 2027.
