Staff reports included a GIS/LIO update from Ms. Jacqueline Schneider, who said the department secured a grant for new ortho imagery tied to NG911 work and is pursuing ESRI training. Surveyor Ron Jasperson reported 23 corners remain to be remonumented in Maxville, with completion expected in summer 2026. Director Cale Severson described his involvement with the Department of Natural Resources on a manure spill to Danuser Creek that led to a fish kill.
On two formal actions, the committee approved amendments to the Buffalo County subdivision ordinance and the Buffalo County Zoning Ordinance on motions by Mr. Chris Lindstrom, seconded by Mr. Robert Sendelbach (both motions carried). The committee noted no public correspondence and listed the election of chair and vice chair as future agenda items before adjourning at 9:11 a.m.
