On July 6 the Council approved Resolution No. 2026-07-10R to allow temporary parking at 3103 104th Place in the Summertree subdivision. Planning Administrator Josh Watson told the Council the lot has been in use "since 2020" and that the BZA issued a 4-1 favorable recommendation with the condition that the lot be removed by June 2030; Member Scott Evorik moved approval, seconded by Member Bob Clemons, and the measure passed 7‑0.
The Planning Administrator said the temporary parking is permitted by right in residential areas when properly processed and that the BZA handled the matter to bridge an oversight from the plat review process. The Council's action formalizes the lot's status through the condition set by the BZA.
