Port Ludlow board approves previous meeting minutes and Bay Club contract for Aug. 28 event

The Port Ludlow Village Council unanimously approved the prior meeting minutes and voted to approve a Portlevel Connects contract with the Bay Club for an event scheduled on Aug. 28. A board member moved to adopt the minutes and the motion was seconded; the Chair called for a voice vote and members answered "Aye."

"I move that the minutes take effect," one board member said when introducing the minutes for approval, and a second was recorded. The Chair then introduced the Bay Club contract, described it as largely boilerplate and noted that the Bay Club would waive facility fees this year: "They're not going to make a donation to the event, but they are going to 0 out the fees for the facility," the Chair said. Board members discussed the contract's responsibilities but recorded no conflicts and the board approved it by voice vote.
