Staff outlines code sections and checklist for reviewing the wireless application
Summary

"If you go to our website, we have all of our codes... 18 is where I live... 18 22 is critical areas, and so that's something that we're updating right now," the planner (speaker 2) said while naming the relevant code sections and describing how staff uses a checklist to prepare findings and conclusions. He reiterated that staff reports are issued two weeks before hearings so residents have time to review and comment.
Why it matters: commenters who want to challenge or support the proposal will be better positioned if they reference specific code criteria and attach evidence; staff said it commonly copies code language into findings so parties can directly point to compliance or noncompliance in their comments.
