Superintendent Dr. Jessica Sonntag told the board that IVVC enrollment for the 2026–27 school year is down, with 30 students registered and about 57 students enrolled in Waubonese courses. In past years the district covered two Waubonese courses per semester for juniors and seniors; the board is expected to vote on whether to continue that practice at its May meeting.
Sonntag also reported modest enrollment growth elsewhere in the district this month, with five new elementary students and two new high school students enrolling. The enrollment figures for IVVC will factor into scheduling and budgeting for the 2026–27 school year, the superintendent said.
