The board moved into executive session at 5:31 p.m. "for the purpose of considering the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees." The board exited executive session at 6:15 p.m. and adjourned at 6:18 p.m. The minutes show a subsequent action approving the employment of Dan Stewart as Hillsboro Junior High School Assistant Principal/Dean of Students by roll call vote 4–3.
