Committee members said Simbly's Assembly provides integrated policy-and-procedures workflows, long-range strategic action plan tracking, and closer LSBA policy integration tailored to public education. The committee recommended a three-module purchase (meeting management, policy repository and planning) and estimated the total comparative cost at roughly $32,000 (compared with $6,000 previously for BoardDocs and $22,000 if the district only retained community plus forethought). Staff said migration work will begin immediately, with a target live launch in February after the Diligent contract runs through January.
Administrators highlighted improved responsiveness, training plans and the ability to preserve the district's policy-and-procedure format while leveraging LSBA's policy services under an MOU.
