Campbell County commissioners approved a package of capital reallocation requests May 6 that shifted funds from existing projects to address unanticipated needs across parks, landfill and county facilities.
The board approved transfers that move $225,000 and $200,000 from the Detention Center Cell Doors Project into transportation and courthouse coolant-line repairs, reallocated $70,000 for bulk camera purchases and $50,000 for LED lighting, and moved $150,000 from a Pronghorn Sewer allocation to add a storm shelter and repave the Bicentennial Ballfield entrance. The board also authorized $155,609 to expand landfill design scope (backup generator, transfer-station evaluation, asbestos removal). One capital change request to reallocate $75,000 for a Landfill Shop Expansion Design was tabled for later consideration.
