County approves courthouse HVAC contract, multiple change orders and awards Road & Bridge reroof project

County administration presented a Professional Service Agreement with Powder River Heating and Air Conditioning for the Courthouse HVAC chiller line replacement for $163,756, dated April 15, 2026. The board also approved multiple change orders: Lowe Roofing (Sheriff's Office roof adhesive changes, increase $17,950), Van Ewing Construction amendments to the Clerk's Office Customer Service Remodel (net adjustments including a $9,402.83 addition and a $2,282.78 credit), and several increases for the Bicentennial Park Adult Softball Fields project handled by S&S Builders totaling tens of thousands of dollars. Separately, the board awarded the Road & Bridge Reroof Project to Hladky Construction, Inc. for $498,698 with a completion deadline of October 30, 2026.
