Holiday Hills pauses OSLAD park grant pursuit after $20,000 consultant quote and lack of parks master plan

Dzialo also said the village does not have a Park and Recreation master plan, which the OSLAD process expects. Because of the consultant cost and the competitive, uncertain nature of the grant, the board verbally agreed to put the process on hold rather than spend $20,000 with no funding guarantee.
The board did not commit to a firm next step for securing a master plan; Director Dzialo will retain notes and the item may return to a future agenda if circumstances change.
