The Village Board accepted the resignation of Makayla Golden and, after discussion, agreed not to hire a replacement for the Office Assistant/Collector position at this time. Clerk Lesley Tennessen said vehicle‑sticker season is winding down and Saturday activity will slow, so trustees will staff Saturdays as needed.
Trustee Carol Stingel moved to accept Golden’s resignation; the motion carried unanimously. The board discussed minimum age requirements for the role and noted applicants must be 18 or older for bonding purposes. The staffing decision is verbal and will be re‑evaluated if workload increases.
The clerk’s report also included approval of the July 16, 2025 minutes, which the board approved by unanimous vote.
