The board approved a contract with Rose Paving LLC in an amount not to exceed $40,275 to remove and replace asphalt for the front circle drive at Mokena Junior High School (MJHS). Julie Oost moved the motion and Anna Briscoe seconded; roll call was unanimous 7–0.
District staff described the project as targeted pavement replacement to address the MJHS circle drive condition. The Facilities/Operations department will coordinate scheduling and ensure traffic flow and safety during the work.
The project is funded from the district maintenance capital budget and is listed alongside other facilities projects approved during the same meeting.
