Board approves $10,866 sealcoating contract for play area and parking

The board approved a contract with Early American Concrete and Asphalt for work to sealcoat the MIS hard surface play area, the MES north parking lot and Willowcrest Lane in an amount not to exceed $10,866. Julie Oost moved for approval; Lisa Zielinski seconded the motion and the board voted 7–0 in favor.
District staff said the work is routine maintenance to preserve pavement surfaces and is part of the facilities upkeep plan. The Facilities/Operations department will coordinate scheduling and scope with school principals to avoid impacting school activities during the work period.
