Curriculum Director Hope McBrain recommended a multiyear adoption for junior high social studies that includes classroom textbooks, workbooks and a six-year digital license; for high school she recommended classroom textbooks and a one-year digital license for digital content. "Curriculum Director Hope McBrain is recommending multiyear approval for a new Junior High Social Studies Curriculum," the minutes state.
Trustee Nathan Kirby moved to approve the purchase and Kassie Greenwood seconded; the roll-call vote was 7-0. The Board approved the adoption and the district will proceed with procurement and distribution of materials to classrooms as described.
