Mr. Roem told the committee the resolution "will be there for tomorrow night for the board's consideration," and he said the Magnolia Ridge subdivision change is included in the Lakewood/Mimosa Park feeder assignments.
Committee members emphasized the change is documentation of prior decisions rather than a new boundary shift. One member asked about the original year of the change; speakers recalled it was done in 2021 or 2022. A committee presenter summarized the benefit: "It just formalizes what y'all had already agreed to," and said the new narratives should be easier for laypeople to read and, together with the interactive map, will let parents enter an address to see the assigned zone. The resolution will be presented to the full board for consideration at tomorrow's meeting.
