Council approves sale and purchase of properties for school facilities and maintenance

Under Resolution 10A2 the council approved acquiring about 0.5 acre at 1715 Pumphrey Avenue from the Auburn City Board of Education for $50,000 to expand the Vinckelman facility adjacent to that property.
Both items were moved, seconded and carried on voice vote during the meeting. City staff presented the parcels and the intended uses; council offered no amendments and the motions passed.
