Staff said the garage measures roughly 24.1 by 25.1 feet and was built without permitting; the survey recorded encroachments that require variances.
Applicant Daniel Abaza (speaker 7) described circumstances that led to the garage location, including existing septic infrastructure and limited buildable area, and asked the board to approve the variances to resolve the code-enforcement issue. Abaza said neighbors and site constraints limited practical relocation options. After discussion the board combined the side- and rear-setback requests into one motion and approved the request with staff conditions.
