Partridge Creek LLC requested that the Planning Commission recommend to City Council the vacation of a 10-foot utility easement along the rear property lines of replatted lots in the Partridge Creek subdivision so lot depths could increase from 100 to 120 feet.
Assistant City Planner Forrest Steinhoff explained the 10-foot easements were newly required on the replatted lots in Partridge Creek 2nd Edition; the plat was approved by City Council on July 27 but had not been recorded yet. Steinhoff told commissioners that no utilities had been installed in the area, so the request is largely an administrative change to unrecord and re-record the easements on the replat.
A commissioner asked whether the vacation incurs a cost to the city; staff said it does not and characterized the change as a paper amendment tied to the replat. After brief discussion the commission recommended approval to City Council, contingent on the three items listed in the staff packet.
