Town Manager Barbara Hollerand told the board that Public Works completed a temporary repair on a waterline break and that a contractor will make a permanent repair within the next couple of weeks. She also reported that the Police Department made a significant drug arrest following a routine traffic stop and that a recent community dunking booth event raised nearly $1,000 for Special Olympics.
Hollerand announced the hiring of a new Parks and Recreation Director who will begin next month; the town will host a meet-and-greet to introduce the new director to the community. She also noted that the Planning Board recommended presenting a draft future land use plan to the Town Board at the board's July meeting.
