Residents press Coats board on grass-cutting and bank access; manager says property lines under review

Joyce Toy (252 E Lemon St) asked about the town not having a bank and how complaints are handled. Commissioner Kelvin Gilbert advised residents that complaints should first be directed to the Town Manager and, if unresolved, could be brought to the board. Mayor Pro Tem Marc Powell discussed a related economic development point, saying he learned a major grocery chain typically looks for a trade area population near 15,000 before opening a location; he also said a flea market concern raised earlier had been resolved.
