During the Jan. 28 meeting the board reviewed winter-operations equipment after the snowblower ran roughly 200 feet and then made a clunking noise. Staff noted the casting that holds the pin ring may have broken and that multiple other issues exist.
Ross Darling inspected the machine and said it was a "money pit." Board Member Dan Kuperberg said he will gather information and circulate details to try to get rid of the machine. The board did not vote to repair or replace the blower at this meeting.
