Crack-sealing machine obtained; board explores volunteer repairs to runway and taxiways

Public works Director Andrew Denham told the advisory board he secured a crack-sealing machine via trade with another municipality and that the Town already has the sealing product on hand. Because volunteers could perform much of the work, Denham said some runway and taxi repairs might be completed without direct cost to the town if organized quickly.
Board members discussed logistics, oversight, and the scope of repairs that volunteers could safely undertake. The board asked that staff gather aircraft arrivals-and-departures data and present it at the next meeting so members can prioritize maintenance tasks and estimate how much of the surface work could be handled in-house.
