Holiday Hills hires part-time officer Scott Thime; oath administered
Summary
The board voted unanimously to hire Scott Thime as a part-time officer; President J. Giles administered the oath of office at the Dec. 10 meeting after Chief W. Copp presented monthly department statistics.
Chief W. Copp reported six calls for service in the month, noting one traffic stop (one warning), zero citations, zero administrative tows and four parking tickets; the sheriff's office (MCSO) also handled six calls. Following the report, a motion was made to hire a new part-time officer.
"A motion was made with the advice and consent of the Board to hire Scott Thime," the minutes state. Trustee Brian Agrella moved the hiring motion, Trustee Carol Stingel seconded, and the board voted unanimously in favor. President J. Giles administered the Oath of Office to Scott Thime at the meeting.
