Trustee Carol Stingel asked the board to approve Halloween trick-or-treat expenditures not to exceed $227.22; Trustee Mickey Brown moved the item, Trustee Kamil Pawlak seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The minutes record the board agreed the Oct. 31 Halloween activities were successful and noted Trunk or Treat was organized by a resident volunteer and did not request village funds prior to the event.
No additional village funding was authorized for the volunteer Trunk or Treat and no retroactive disbursement was recorded in the minutes. The approved $227.22 is the only budgeted amount recorded in relation to Halloween activities at the Nov. 19 meeting.
