President J. Giles told the board a pre-construction meeting for Phase IIB of the village sewer project has been announced and initial work will begin this week. "The pre-construction meeting has been announced," Giles said, and officials expect crews to install silt fencing first and then proceed with construction through the winter.
Giles described the planned work sequence: crews will start at the southwest side of the village and work toward the front. Clerk Lesley Tennessen will post the Nunda letter and a color-coded map to the Village Facebook page and the village message board to inform residents. The board was told that Trine will plow construction and cut areas while Nunda will plow other sections, and that Trine may not plow during off hours, so residents should be patient.
