New 7th Street Bar owners approved for Class C liquor license, keno outlet and sign permit

The City Council on July 20 approved Kelsey and Andrew Koperski as the new owners of the 7th Street Bar (706 7th Street, formerly Jake's Bar), granting a new Class C liquor license and approving the Nebraska Form 50G Schedule II application to operate a City lottery sales outlet at the location.
Council member Mark Wilson moved to approve the new Class C liquor license; the motion passed 4-0. Michael Nevrivy of Nebraska Keno Inc. was present to answer questions about the lottery outlet application. Council also approved a property improvement application for a new sign from Tri-City Signs at a cost of $1,840; the funds will be disbursed from the city's sales tax account and the St. Paul Development Corp. recommended approval.
All motions regarding the license, keno outlet and sign permit passed without recorded opposition.
