St. Paul adopts ordinance updating rules for bicycles, e-bikes and personal conveyances

Council member Jerry Woodgate introduced the ordinance. Council member Katie Kowalski moved to waive the three readings typically required for ordinances; the council voted 4-0 to waive the readings and then voted 4-0 for final passage of Ordinance 1067. Utilities Superintendent Helzer was directed to order "restricted ride area" signage to implement parts of the new code.
