Legislature creates Red Spring Round Bridge project and approves bridge transfers and acquisitions

Resolution 13 authorized transferring $318,000 from an unassigned bridge account to bridge project funds. Subsequent resolutions created the Red Spring Round Bridge capital project and authorized funding for that project from the Road Fund balance (Resolutions 14 and 15). Resolution 16 authorized implementation and initial funding for right-of-way acquisition for the Newcomb Road Bridge (BIN 2217650) replacement over the Canisteo River.
Each measure passed on roll call during the meeting. The measures together advance planning, acquisition, and funding steps for several county bridge projects; specific engineering schedules and contractor selections were not read into the meeting record and will be handled by county public works staff.
