Probation chief says staff shortages strain workloads but compliance improvements completed

Thomas said the office had completed mailing the last of unpaid victim checks, a compliance goal, and commended clerical staff for their efforts. He characterized recent work as aimed at meeting OPCA/DCJS rules and improving service despite staffing constraints.
